Makes me think of the white addict Bubbles used to run with in the first few seasons of The Wire.

WOW…is it that serious
yep. don’t know how much loot handrails are garnering…but i’m not quite sure that’s the point here.
YO!
That sign is for MY guardrails! I was PISSED when I saw they had been cut from the steps! This was a professional job, no junkie with a hacksaw . I thought my neighbors were playing me when they said they put a sign up about it. I LOVE my neighborhood ALREADY!
Not sure what the going rate is either but I know I was one of the few houses on my block with what appear to be original railings. Everyone else has ironwork on theirs…
Professionals can be junkies too…but I feel you. I’m sorry you got jacked, and am glad that your neighbors looked out. How’d you find my picture?
LOL, I’m a blog stalker, and am currently on a national and local politics binge, so I’ve been reading yours and a few other blogs a lot lately. I RARELY post until I saw that pic and recognized that corner immediately!
I say “a professional job” because when I first told people what happened everyone made comments about Baltimore crack heads, which given my new residence, I’m starting to take offense to.
I know what you mean. I literally just bought a house outside of the city three hours ago so am technically no longer a resident (five school aged kids should tell you why). But I’ll never forget hearing a brother from detroit of all places (and I’m FROM and LOVE Detroit, don’t get me wrong) ask me whether Baltimore was as bad as it looked on The Wire.
Stick around! (small world….)
It is a small world…
and congrats on the new house!
