as far as the Jeremiah Wright commentary: Snap, Snap. Maybe it´s cause I´m not in the states (and am not getting inundated with images or any information about this at all) but I don´t understand the backlash at all.
From what I heard of the Rev´s speeches, I didn´t see what he said that was so outrageous. At least I know I´m not crazy.
Was the Vogue magazine cover supposed to be a “Beauty and the Beast” thing? Vogue is not a magazine I would pay attention to, no matter who is on the cover, but I heard Burrell from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch express outrage, referring to it as “King Kong” imagery. Did other people react that way?
