I made a couple of mistakes–I talked about the Hip Hop Social Action Network when it’s really the Hip Hop Summit Action Network (didn’t make that mistake in the book!), and I referred to Heather Thomas rather than Heather Thompson in talking about academics with Detroit backgrounds. But other than that it’s a good interview. Gave me a chance to talk about a few things that I wanted to include in the book but did not. Also gave me a chance to talk a little bit about what I believe my role in the Academy to be.
